What can I put inside it?
Dry kibble and small round treats work best. At this size it takes a decent handful, so it is easy to tip in a whole meal for a medium dog. Anything flat or sticky tends to jam near the opening.
Is it too easy, or too hard?
It lands in the middle for most dogs. Pieces come out steadily rather than all at once, so he has to keep working at it without getting fed up. If it is emptying too fast for your dog, use slightly larger pieces and they will hang up inside a little longer.
How do I clean it?
Warm soapy water and a good rinse through the hole, then stand it opening down and let it air dry. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Give it a wash every few days if you are using wet or oily treats.
Can I leave him alone with it?
We would rather you did not. It is rubber, and a ball with food inside is the thing a determined chewer will work hardest on. Give it to him while you are in the room, and take it away once the food is gone.
